Michael Lynch American Idol Kicked Out of Top 24 For Breaking Confidential Info

Michael Lynche American IdolBig Mike American Idol? Who is he? He’s one of the American Idol Top 24 Finalists who made it to the Hollywood round. However, all his American Idol dreams are shattered because of his blabbermouth squealer father! Michael Lynche’s father did not obey a confidentiality agreement they signed in with the show.

Big Mike’s father allegedly announced to the local paper St. Petersburg Times that his son has qualified in the 2010 American Idol auditions up to the Top 24. Unfortunately, American Idol is not mincing words with its rules. So Michael Lynch American Idol was erased of the American Idol Top 24 List of Contestants. Boo-hoo!

    Weird, I just saw him sing his way to the top 12…….funny that he didn’t make it to the top 24.

    I have a question. I am now concerned that these kids texting to this “live” show to vote are being hustled. If it is live why was the information about the “Top 24” leaked before they even got to that part by the “live” voters? Can anyone explain this?

      it really is not live Jessica, they have to edit everything first and that takes a while also this series (American Idol) is done in the summer so that is why everybody is in dresses that are sundresses

      The top 24 are chosen by the judges, so the voting does not start until afterwards. When the show airs the auditions to us the viewers, it has already taken place and basically we are watching the auditions after the top 24 have already been selected. This is where the disqualification rule comes in to play. Because the 24 have already been selected, it is confidential until it airs. The auditions have been pre-recorded so they are not live.
